Dive into the Mind of Mistry Podcast

Kavin Mistry’s Mind of Mistry Podcast

Mind of Mistry is now live.

There has never been more information about health.

Every day we’re surrounded by podcasts, newsletters, videos, and endless advice promising better energy, longer life, and greater performance.

Yet despite having access to more knowledge than ever before, many people feel more distracted, more overwhelmed, and more disconnected from what actually creates a meaningful life.

That’s why I created the Mind of Mistry Podcast, featuring a new show, Primal Shots.

This podcast is where neuroscience meets philosophy. Where medicine meets lived experience. Where conversations become an opportunity to explore not just how we live longer, but how we live better.

As a board-certified neuroradiologist, I’ve spent more than two decades studying the human brain through hundreds of thousands of imaging studies. Those experiences have taught me that health is about far more than preventing disease. It’s about designing a life that allows us to thrive.

That’s the conversation I want to have.

Why Mind of Mistry?

Every guest brings a different lens.

Some are physicians pushing the boundaries of longevity science.

Others are entrepreneurs, authors, athletes, creators, or leaders who have built remarkable lives through curiosity, discipline, and purpose.

Rather than interviewing people about what they know, I want to understand how they think.

The conversations are thoughtful, practical, and intentionally unhurried. They’re designed for people who want depth instead of sound bites.

Whether we’re discussing brain health, relationships, purpose, leadership, or the future of humanity in the Age of AI, every episode comes back to one question:

What helps us become more fully human?

Episode One: Nick Hutchison

New episodes every other Wednesday on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

The first episode welcomes Nick Hutchison, founder of BookThinkers, whose work has helped millions of readers discover books that transform the way they think.

Together we explore the power of reading, building intentional morning rituals, staying present in an increasingly distracted world, and why curiosity remains one of the greatest investments we can make in ourselves.

Early in the conversation, Nick shares a simple truth that captures the spirit of the episode.

"Books changed my life."

Later, reflecting on the tattoo across his neck, he says:

"When you realize you have a finite life, you start working on infinite things."

That idea resonates deeply with one of the central themes behind Primal Health Design: accepting our mortality often becomes the catalyst for living with greater clarity, intention, and purpose.

More Than a Podcast

Mind of Mistry is an extension of everything I’ve been building through Primal Health Design.

It’s another way to explore the questions that have shaped my career as a neuroradiologist, author, and lifelong educator of human performance.

You’ll hear conversations about longevity and healthspan.

About neuroscience and the remarkable adaptability of the human brain.

About purpose, relationships, leadership, and building resilience in a rapidly changing world.

Most importantly, you’ll hear stories from people who are living these ideas every day.
